The Berkeley Opera & El Cerrito Community embraces Art by Mark Canepa

Mark Canepa

Once again the Berkeley Opera embraces the art of Mark Canepa! For many weeks Mark dedicated much time, energy, and spirit on a piece he was creating for the opera.  The installation created was an 18 ft. tree made out of metal.  If you haven’t seen the works of Mr. Canepa, we cordially invite you to come and meet him at the East Bay Village Shops in El Cerrito.

There is a lovely exhibit in the gallery which showcases 35 years of Art with Mark.  Mark’s artwork is available for sale and he has been known to be commissioned by many local and community events and performances.

See here some of the images taken during the set of the Berkeley’s production of Handel’s Xerxes — a comedy! In Italian with English super titles.
